7 Days Langtang Valley Trek



Langtang Valley Trek is one of the most popular trekking routes of Nepal nearer to Kathmandu. Langtang valley trek lies only 90 km away from Kathmandu and closer to the border of Tibet. We can see many mountains and their ranges along with the clean and green forest on the lower part.  There are much more glaciers here, that’s why this region is also called “the valley of Glaciers”. Langtang valley trekking is suitable for those who wish to have a short trek from Kathmandu to the great path of Trekking in Nepal. We can view many beautiful forests covered with rhododendron and oak trees as well as many waterfalls as well as snow-capped mountains.  Thus, the Langtang valley trekking is appropriate for both nature lovers as well as the adventurers. Generally, March, April, September, October, and November can be considered as the best season to trek to this region.


We can view many villages of different tribes all the way to the valley. Mainly people of Tamang, Gurung, Brahmin and Chhetri community used to live here. We can view a fantastic view of their culture and traditions while making a trip to the valley. The Langtang Valley Trekking, We can see many beautiful pasture land and meadows while making our journey to the destination. There are many subtropical forests lying on the way to our destination. Our trekking begins with a 5-6 an hour drive to Syabrubesi from Kathmandu. We can view a spectacular view of mountains through our naked eye.

Itinerary
Day 01: Kathmandu to Syabrubesi
Early morning we make our way to Syabrubesi.  It may take around   7 hours for us to reach at our goal.  We can view a fabulous view over to the road while driving. We can see many green hills enriched with many birds and animals.  Similarly, we can see many Himalayan ranges from the side screen.
Day 02: Trek to Lama Hotel
After having the early morning breakfast, our way leads us towards Bhote Koshi River. Then we have to climb over to the forest where we can have an encounter with the wild birds and vegetations. We have to walk for several hours to reach at Lama Hotel which is situated at the height of 2748m.
Day 03: Trek to Langtang village
Early morning with the sun, we continue our trekking.  We have to pass the forest area where we can glance the white snow-covered Langtang Lirung.  We can see fewer shepherd and yak herd here. We can also see a beautiful monastery situating there. After walking for a while, we can see several settlements. Finally, we reach Langtang Village situating at the height of 3500m.
Day 04: Trek to Kyangjin
 The trail goes slowly and gradually through the small villages and through the pasture lands. After walking for several hours we can reach a small settlement at Kyangjin. Kyangjin is situated at the height of 3800m. Here we can see many monasteries and also can see the cheese factory of Government.
Day 05: Rest day in Kyangjin
Now we are at the height of 3870m. After taking breakfast we may visit the nearest monasteries and villages. We also can meet the local people who are completely Loyal and hospitable towards us. We can enjoy the whole day at Kyanjin Gompa watching the glaciers, forests, birds and close by mountains. 
Day 06: Trek to Lama Hotel
Early morning, after having breakfast we continued our trekking towards Lama Hotel. Here we have to walk around 6-7 hours. We can also view a fantastic view of Sunrise from here. We have to continue our trekking downwards following the river.  We have to pass the Tamang settlements on the way to the Lama Hotel. We are now at the height of 2784m.
Day 07: Trek to Syabrubesi
We should continue walking down the hill to reach at Syabrubesi from Lama Hotel. It will take about 5 hours for us to reach Syabrubesi. The trails of here are an easy and glorious one. We can see an extravagant view of green forest along with the wild animals and birds. Finally, we reach at Syabrubesi at a height of about 2000m.
Day 08: Back to Kathmandu
From Syabrubesi, we headed towards Kathmandu. It will take about 8-10 hours for us to reach at our final objective. We can also view an incredible sight along the way to Kathmandu from the side windows of Bus. We may stay the night at one of the Lodges of Kathmandu. The next day will be farewell programs organized by the trekking agency itself.
